Appearance: Vikohla has an average build for a lean person of her age and isn't very
curvaceous. She usually has her hair cut short in loose variations of a bob cut, pixie
cut or bowl cut. She has beady eyes, thick eyebrows and a mole under her left eye. She has a fairly pronounced overbite which comes through quite clearly when she smiles. Vikohla tends to wear a generous application of dark lipstick, eyeliner and eyeshadow, but the dominant feature on her face is her large, prominent nose. Vikohla once joked that she gets 20% more oxygen than the average Hyur due to the size of her
enormous schnoz.

= Vikohla is an avid learner which stems from her childhood eagerness to understand what her parents were up to. As they were accomplished scientists Vikohla reasoned that if she learned science she could spend more time with them, and it worked!
= Vikohla's imagination was ignited and fostered by a slew of fantasy adventure stories during her early years. From this, and being raised in a home which heavily promoted problem solving, she grew into quite the creative thinker.
= For the better part of two decades Vikohla had complicated ideas broken down for her by her parents. This rubbed off on her and she's become quite good at translating complex information to others.
= Vikohla has a knack for peacefully interacting with various insects and animals. She grew up around farming communities in both Coerthas and La Noscea with many locals happy to answer the curious junior scientist's questions. Through much of her childhood she served as her parents lab assistant where she helped raise, test, dissect and bury numerous test subjects which also gave her ample opportunity to study various creatures.
= One of Vikohla's goals is to someday publish a paper on the merits of the mecha mage as a viable job. If accepted by the scientific community perhaps she'll even get to see the mecha mage take root and become a fully realized aspect of the job market.
= She hopes that she can eventually help bridge the communication and education gaps between various tribes and nations of Eorzea by becoming a chemistry or machinist teacher. She's even started taking introductory xenolinguistics classes to this end.

I was introduced to her by a classmate who encouraged me to catch her performance at The Masked Carnivale, and fortunately I did. I was so blown away by her magical abilities and magnetic charisma that I took a chance on asking for her autograph at Blue Moon's Magic Parlour, which offers magic items and healing services.
Not only did Lihya (that's her real name) oblige me with her autograph, we struck up a conversation, an acquaintance and a friendship! She's so sweet! I mean, she'll eviscerate someone just as cheerfully as she'll bake some cupcakes, but only bad people. She's so cool! One time she-- Sorry, am I rambling right now? When Vikohla's time studying chemistry in Ul'dah had come to an end her parents hired an accomplished mercenary named Kasi to escort her home.
The miqo'te lancer, seeing that Vikohla had no prior combat experience, offered to train her in basic weapons defense. Vikohla, who had plans to develop machinist-enhanced armor for adventurers, accepted the offer so she could learn more about those she would be helping with her inventions.
Vikohla has great respect for Kasi's martial prowess and she also provides a much needed window into the lives of those who live off the land and by the sword.
I'delia is one of the brave miqo'te who helped escort Vikohla home safely from Ul'dah. Some of her fondest memories of the long journey home were the songs I'delia played to help sooth her nerves. As a mutual friend and fangirl of The Blue Moon I'delia was happy to help and she found common ground with Vikohla upon learning about her lack of aptitude with aether manipulation.
I'delia's growing proficiency with the bow, along with the risks she took in protecting her, greatly inspired Vikohla to at least try to familiarize herself with a weaponry discipline. Vikohla sometimes sees I'dealia when visiting Kasi for weapons training which has helped develop their friendship.
